Erika Jayne Girardi<\/b> (born July 10, 1971), known professionally as Erika Jayne<\/b>, is an American singer, actress and television personality.[1]<\/a><\/sup> She came to prominence with the release of her debut single \u00ab\u00a0Roller Coaster<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0, which topped the US Billboard<\/a><\/i> Dance Club Songs<\/a> chart in 2007; it was included on her debut studio album Pretty Mess<\/a><\/i> in 2009. Jayne has attained nine number-one songs on the Dance Club Songs chart as of 2016, most recently \u00ab\u00a0How Many Fucks<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0. In 2015, she was cast in the sixth season of the reality television<\/a> series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a><\/i>.<\/h2>\n

Early life<\/span><\/h2>\n

She was raised in Atlanta<\/a> by her single mother, a classically trained pianist. Jayne attended North Atlanta High School<\/a>. She enrolled in a magnet program for the performing arts in high school, saying \u00ab\u00a0That\u2019s where you really learned to love the stage and really hone your early performing skills. I wouldn\u2019t trade that experience for anything in the world.\u00a0\u00bb[2]<\/a><\/sup> At 18, she moved to New York City<\/a>. She performed as a member of several girl groups while living in New York. Shortly after she got married to her first husband and gave birth to a son.
